Nurnberger. He provided exceptional service to the school district of Saint Louis for 33 years. 6TH GRADE STUDENTS The seventh grade students have four core classes, Math, English, Geography, and Science. Each seventh grade student is involved in a Mini-Studies course and Reading Rotation. Reading Rotation focuses on reading skills and involves a variety of topics picked by the individual teacher. The students also move between P.E. and band throughout the day. 8TH GRADE STUDENTS Eighth grade students have four core classes, Math, English, History, and Environmental Science. In addition, students will have Mini Studies, Reading Rotation and P.E. Near the end of the school year, eighth grade students "graduate" to high school during the Afternoon of Excellence. Awards and special recognition are also provided at this function. The eighth grade students also enjoy incentives at the end of each marking period. These include bowling, roller skating, attending a movie, and/or a canoeing trip. |
